Help wanted: Welder/Fabricator
Under general supervision, operates gas and electric welding equipment and sheet metal fabrication equipment. Work from drawings, sketches or instruction, perform ordinary welding operations with hand arc or auto wire feed equipment, using welder settings and type of rod as directed. Clean and grind work as necessary to prepare surface for welding.
Repair variety of metals, prepare by cleaning, chipping, grinding or wire brushing. Preheat if necessary. Build up metal to surrounding surface and smooth by grinding. Cut out materials using hand or motor driven torch, band saw, or our waterjet cutting system.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00/hr - $30.00/hr based on experience
Experience: mig: 1 year (Preferred), Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
Hours per Week: 40 or more, plus weekends as needed.
